Tasks and responsibilities

assemble, connect, and install electrical components such as switches, fuses, motors, sensors, and controllers in accordance with the electrical plan and technical specifications
construct electrical installations according to the project, technical drawings, and specifications, and determine the necessary materials, resources, and timelines for installation
perform work according to specifications, quality standards, and regulations, and monitor the progress of the work, regularly reporting on the project's status
carry out electrical installations according to technical drawings and instructions, assemble and connect electrical components, install cables, lay pipes, and conduct electrical testing to ensure proper system functionality
adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working with electrical equipment, ensuring a safe environment for oneself and fellow colleagues, and implementing necessary protective measures to reduce the risk of injuries or damage
handle the required tools and ensure their proper maintenance, as well as the vehicle used for fieldwork.

Requirements

completed secondary education in electrical engineering or electromechanics as an electrical technician or electrical installer
minimum of 1 year of work experience in similar roles
fundamental understanding of electrical systems, as well as the principles and characteristics of electrical components
proficiency in electrical engineering, electrical installations, systems, and equipment to effectively identify potential faults and have a comprehensive understanding of how the systems being commissioned/maintained/serviced operate
knowledge of electrical symbols and markings used in various facilities and locations that are often the subject of projects. This includes symbols for switches, relays, fuses, signaling, transformers, connectors, conductors, and other components
desirable skills in electro mechanics to properly integrate electrical components into distribution electrical cabinets, including fastening, assembly, handling, and installation. • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
teamwork skills and the ability to communicate basic tasks
proficiency in spoken and written English
"B" category driver's license.
