Electrical estimator (m/f)

Tasks and responsibilities

legally and timely perform job responsibilities
prepare cost calculations and prepare bids for tenders
submit inquiries and collect supplier quotations for equipment and necessary work, and prepare comparative tables
specify equipment and catalog numbers from diagrams or cost estimates, specify equipment and work for implementation from the main or execution project
translate technical documentation from English to Croatian
create cost estimates for electrical works (design, electrical panel construction, electrical construction in building construction, industry, water and wastewater, oil and gas, solar, energy, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage)
regularly monitor public procurement procedures to identify potential projects for bidding
prepare bids and documentation for submission to public tenders
prepare documentation for negotiating contracts with subcontractors
continuously improve and train in the field of work
properly and conscientiously use assigned assets and work resources
opening opportunities in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
export data from the cost estimate to KPI (Key Performance Indicator) tracking
opening projects in the engineering folder and in the ERP system
export cabinet and production data from the cost estimate and import it into documents in ERP
omporting cost estimates into ERP
handing over the awarded job/contract to the implementation team within the organization

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
2 years of experience in similar or related roles
understanding of the fundamentals of automation, electrical work and installations, and energy systems
strong proficiency in MS Office applications, primarily Excel and Word.
organizational, communication, and sales skills
good analytical abilities that will be used in preparing bids, assessing market potential, and identifying potential new customers
good knowledge of English for oral and written communication (primarily via email) with customers and partners
driver's license category "B."
